Job Description

A great opportunity exists for an experienced General Mechanic/Welder -Heavy Equipment to support our team and ensure our companies’ equipment remains operational.   Duties include servicing, repairing, overhauling, diagnosing issues and inspecting a wide variety of heavy equipment that includes trucks, cranes, graders, bulldozers, lift forks and yard vehicles.

  • Ability to lift 25kg

 

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • 1-3 years direct experience – heavy equipment, cranes, welding, hydraulics
  • Valid drivers’ licence
  • Other qualifications – Standard First Aid, WHMIS, Lock Out/Tag Out, OHS etc. considered an asset

 

 

Salary/Hours

  • Salary Range $25.00/hr – $40.00/hr -commensurate with certifications and experience
  • Health Benefits Program
  • Normal work hours 5 days/week (Monday to Friday) 7:30am – 5:00pm, with additional work as required
