Assistant Store Manager

Our busy and dynamic seasonal business requires dedicated hands-on management for our six-month opening season. We are seeking the right candidates to fill two Assistant Store Manager positions.   

The Assistant Store Manager provides support to the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and will occasionally fulfil the role of Manager on Duty. The Assistant Store Manager will train, motivate and supervise team members to provide excellent customer service and adherence to business policies. The Assistant Store Manager will contribute to inventory control, product presentation and merchandising.

This role requires:

  • Management experience (preferred);
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the retail industry;
  • Experience in team management;
  • Flexible availability during summer (days, evenings, weekends, holidays);
  • Ability to organize and manage priorities;
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment;
  • Specific certifications required.

Details:

Location: Port Colborne

Position One: 34 weeks, April-November, Full-Time

Position Two: 26 weeks, May-October, Full-Time

Hourly: $19.80 – $23.05
