Store Manager

A rare opportunity is available for a skilled manager who is seeking better command of their own employment structure.

Our busy and dynamic seasonal business requires dedicated hands-on management for our six-month opening season. The balance of the year is dedicated to planning and administration with the benefit of being able to design a unique work schedule.

The Store Manager develops action plans and oversees all activity in the business to ensure that priorities are aligned to achieve performance targets in all departments. The Manager will manage budgets, labour costs, inventory control, product presentation and merchandising. Equally important, the Manager will recruit, train, coach, motivate and develop a team to foster customer loyalty, fulfil customer needs and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement.

This role requires:

  • Management experience (preferred);
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the retail industry;
  • Experience in team management and HR;
  • Flexible availability during summer (days, evenings, weekends, holidays);
  • Ability to organize and manage priorities;
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment;
  • Specific certifications required.

Details:

Location: Port Colborne

Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: $42,000 – $48,000
