Job Description
Responsibilities:
– Must have a valid “G” drivers license and transportation.
-Must have own tools and be willing to purchase some tools to keep up with industry standard’s.
-Must be able to perform basic job duties consisting of tires, alignments, brakes and front end, A/C and electrical diagnosis, check engine and ABS diagnosis, engine and transmission replacement, safety inspections, oil changes, ect.
-Maintain a clean and safe work area
Skills:
– Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems
– Ability to follow instructions and learn new skills quickly
– Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
– Good problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot automotive issues
– Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other technicians
– Willingness to learn and develop new skills in the automotive repair industry
We are a newly established shop in a thriving small town. Shop has been furnished with all new hoists and equipment. Our current hours are 7-3 Monday to Friday. NO weekends. Closed 1 week for summer vacation and closed for 1 week between Christmas and new years. We will supply uniforms and paid lunch most Fridays. Great work environment that can be fast paced with quick turn around at times. Technician will be expected to perform jobs in a timely manner with good quality repairs. We only quote needed repairs and advise the customer of future or suggested maintenance. We are a team and family oriented shop and work together to solve problems and repairs. Salary: $24.00-$31.00 per hour
