Responsibilities

  • Rack various metal parts in preparation for the finishing process, ensuring proper placement and alignment
  • Safely load and unload parts onto/from machines, following established protocols and guidelines
  • Inspect parts for quality and accuracy, identifying any defects and reporting them to the supervisor
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient workspace
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and guidelines
  • Assist with general maintenance tasks to keep machines and equipment in good working condition

 

Requirements: 

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or metalworking environment is preferred but not required
  • Ability to lift and carry loads of up to 50 pounds, repeatedly during the course of the shift
  • Attention to detail an commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Understanding of workplace safety practices and the ability to follow safety guidelines
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Forklift license is preferred but not required
