DESCRIPTION:Face Forward is a 4 day program from 9:30am – 1:30pm. The workshops help people build skills for work\, learning\, and everyday life. Topics include: \n\nhandling change\nworking with other people\nsolving problems\ntrying new ideas\n\nThese are called Skills for Success. \nWhat will I do? You will: \n\nanswer an online questionnaire before the workshops (about 30 minutes)\nattend four Face Forward workshops (about 3 hours each\, although your trainer may break them up if they think it’s best)\nanswer the questionnaire again after the workshops (about 30 minutes)\nanswer a few short questions about your experience\n\nThe results will help us improve future training programs.  \nIf you are interested in signing up please contact emily.owen@portcares.ca

SUMMARY:CannSell – Supported Certification Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The CannSell Standard Certification is the only training program approved for legally authorized cannabis retailers in Ontario. Ontario law requires that all employees of cannabis retail stores\, store managers\, and cannabis retail license holders must complete the CannSell certification before their first day of work. CannSell was developed in partnership with MADD Canada to support safer consumption. \nCannSell is a mandatory training for those who want to work in a retail Cannabis environment in the province of Ontario.  This course is designed to assist those individuals who require either technology or learning support to achieve this certification. Please note\, you must be 19 years old to get certified. \nIf you are interested in CannSell\, and feel you could achieve this self-guided course independently at home\, please speak to your Employment Coach today\, otherwise\, register your interest in this program here! \nPlease note – your spot is not guaranteed as space is limited\, you will receive a confirmation of your registration via. a phone call or email from a PC Works team member! \nIf you have questions\, please call 905 834 3629 x 293.
