Youth Job Connection
This program is designed to help youth ages between 15-29 who face significant barriers to employment. It provides access to employability and employment skills development, along with education/training and work experiences. The goal is to support young people in taking incremental steps towards achieving their long term employment goals, including returning to secondary or post secondary school or enrolment in other types of skills development.
Eligibility:
- 15-29 years at registration (15-18 must have a SAL agreement to participate)
- A resident of Ontario
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Unemployed
- Not participating in full-time training or education
Youth Job Connection – Summer
Youth Job Connection Summer program is open to eligible youth ages 15-18 who are currently enrolled in secondary school and are face challenging life situations. The program provides pre-employment training and work opportunities that will help them make informed career and educational planning decisions as they embark on their careers.
Eligibility:
- 15-18 years at the time of registration
- A resident of Ontario
- Eligible to work in Canada
- High School Student, intending to stay in, or return to high school or access post secondary education after placement
