Job Title: Guest Service Agent
Department: Front Office

Responsibilities/Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Registering and assigning rooms
  • Monitoring emails on the Front Office computer and responding in a timely manner
  • Ensuring safety of guests and property at all times
  • Use of I Hotel system
  • Understanding and using Member Web, Best Western Rewards Program
  • Possess a working knowledge of the reservations system; understand hotel policy on types of reservations; understand hotel policies for payments, room locations, room rates, packages, discounts, and cancellations


  • High School Diploma
  • Hotel and Customer Service experience preferred but not required
  • Must be able to stay calm under pressure
  • Must have strong problem solving abilities
  • Must be able to multi task (register a guest, answer the phone, and acknowledge the guest in line all at the same time)
  • Must have knowledge of computers, great customer service, and ability to work in a fast paced environment
