Job Description

Accounting/Administrative Assistant

Works Monday 7am to 4 pm.  Enters the payroll with PayWeb and book the payroll in QB to the jobs.  Do P.O’s as needed.

Works Tuesday through  Thursday 8am to noon.  Maintains the book inventory and deals with the physical inventory.  Person will be required to be in the plant and be responsible for physical inventory.  Needs to know location and count.  They will count themselves on a as needed basis.  Additional hours may be to assemble the hardware to go out on a job and help load truck. 

Prepare PO’s as needed

Set up new jobs in QB.  Enter the estimates.  Ensure all expenses and hours are entered on jobs

Answers the phone when in the office

Enters sales orders

Follows-up on Accounts receivables and payables

Prepares cheques and do bank and credit card reconciliations

Must know:

How to process payroll

Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Word and Excel

Formal training in accounting at post secondary level, Degree not necessary

Other:

Reports to the CFO
